How do I put * on the passwords on the /etc/master.passwd list? I've read something about using either kerberos or ssh to provide some sort of checking mechanism, so I installed kerberos 5 encryption services in the port/packages. Do I need to run some kind of daemon? I am using the box as a workstation, due to the limited capacity of my hd, so running ssh is not that attractive. Please help. TIA.
