Can anyone please tell me what should > I do > now? > > Ajesh John There are only 2 serial com nipples on standard PCs. These are called sio0 and sio1 in FreeBSD and com1 and com2 by the motherboard. What makes you think your PC has a com3 and com4 external nipples? You should be cabling you external serial modem to your PCs com1 or com2 external serial nipples.
