Is FreeBSD supported on a Compaq Proliant 2000? I have had no luck =
attempting to install various versions of Linux on this beast, they =
don't support the on-board NCR SCSI controller. Also, if FreeBSD does =
support the Proliant 2000, how easy is it to configure to support SMP? =
My Proliant has two 486DX-50 processors, with slots for two more. =
Pentium processor boards are also available. Seems to me that this would =
make an ideal UNIX box.
TIA for any help.

Patrick McManus
