I have compiled in the starfire driver with my kernel using the line: device sf # Adaptec AIC-6915 (``Starfire'') The hardware platform is on a IBM Netfinity 4000R. I have disabled any PnP options in the bios and have also disabled floppy and com ports. I am posting the output from the command "dmesg" and also the output of "vmstat -I". Please CC:g00ru@cyberedge.net with any info.
