Subject: PR 116066: [patch] Update databases/postgresql-odbc to newest version

This week, to my utter surprise I found that FreeBSD's postgresql-odbc
port lags terribly behind RedHat (!)

The driver version in the port collection is 7.2, while 8.x is
currently available. And it looks like the driver does need a 7 to 8
upgrade to be usable with the latest PortgreSQLs.

Fortunately, PR 116066 provides a patch for a port upgrade. Using it,
I was able to build the new port and successfully use it no time.

The patch was submitted almost a year ago, on Sep 3, 2007.

May I humbly ask you what's keeping us from getting the updated port?

Thanks,
