Your best bet would be to ask your questions on a list > that is specifically for lynx. due to the nature of the problem, and my limited knowledge, i can't say if the problem relates to "ppp", "lynx", "squid", "named", or some odd combination in relation to FreeBSD. i also can't say if it is in relation to the port of lynx, which may be FreeBSD specific. can you? i don't have a Linux machine and can't say if the same occurs on another platform. thanks for your help.
