Here's the config for a bind that will respond to DNS requests from other m=
achine.

options {
        directory "/etc/namedb";
};

zone "." {
        type hint;
        file "named.root";
};

zone "0.0.127.IN-ADDR.ARPA" {
        type master;
        file "localhost.rev";
};

If you have an upstream DNS server you can tell BIND about it by putting
the following inside the options section ->
        forwarders {
                1.2.3.4;
        };

Hope that helps.
