Voicetronix; has released
open source
FreeBSD-4.4 drivers for it's low cost V4PCI 4-port analogue Computer
Telephony card.

A Computer Telephony (CT) card is a PCI card that interfaces your PC
to telephone lines. Each port looks electrically like a regular
telephone, but can be controlled via the PC. CT cards are used to
build IVR systems, voicemail, Voice over IP systems etc.

The drivers are available for immediate download from the
Voicetronix; web site. Also
available
at the web site are free CT applications such as:

OpenH323 VOIP Gateway: build a VOIP gateway for the price of a
V4PCI card and a PC!

Bayonne: the telephony server of the GNU project.

CT Server: Perl based CT programming environment.
