That is correct, and an age old charter says your comment should go
underneath because it's often easier to read/follow the thread for most
of us.

Many people will say this is not true and since it's subjective they
will be correct for them and some others, however tradition and good
manners suggest it's better to post in this style.

Cue pointless debate about the pros and cons for top-posting and how
it's evil/the best thing since FreeBSD.

Not that these things are predictable or anything.
