Thanks for the reply.

The BIOS on this machine is old - it's a '97 vintage ASUS motherboard
and doesn't have a simple PnP on/off toggle - however I have set all
the IRQ assignments, but that hasn't helped.

Are you sure your cards were 4.1 revisions?
