OpenLook (olvwm) is supposed to come with a program called "props" that
allows you to set your default properties (i.e. window and screen
colours, mouse behavior, etc.) This program is not included in either
the olvwm or xview-* ports or packages.

Any idea where (if?) I can find this command?

Or, if not available, can someone tell me how to set olvwm properties
manually, in my .Xdefaults file?

Please reply by email and/or to freebsd-questions. Thanks!
