The following reply was made to PR i386/121159; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Pavel Kalousek <mefistofelez@hotmail.com> To: Volker <volker@vwsoft.com>, <bug-followup@freebsd.org> Cc: Subject: RE: i386/121159: Newly installed FreeBSD (both version 6.3 and 7.0 RC3) hang on boot Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2008 16:43:15 -0800 --_9f16cf59-bc57-45d6-8847-1086cbb981e3_ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Gentleman, I am forwarding the below reproduced conversation between Volker and I per = his request, regarding a reported bug. I believe that the bug report can be closed for two reasons: (1) subsequent= to a first successful boot, I was unable to re-create the bug during abou= t 10-15 reboots, and (2) the motherboard has died during compilation of "wo= rld", just moments ago. Should you have a different opinion, please let me know.
