Lee,

I've made the device nodes for the sound card in /dev,  I run cat xx.au
>/dev/audio, it got
/dev/audio: Device not configured.
I really don't know what's going on, would you like te teach me again?
Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm using SB16 PnP and I can play CD.
