ummm - hope this is ok to post ;)

i think this is a FBSD question since it relates
to terminal settings. i would like to print
to a local printer while connected with a
terminal program to a FBSD server. with PINE,
i do this by just saying "lp=".

i'd like to do it with other programs (pico etc.)
but specifically with lynx 2.8 (FBSD 2.2.7).

the lynx.cfg say to use some "lpansi" termcap
thing, but FBSD doesn't have that. after experimenting
a while, i still can't find anything that makes this
situation work out.

any suggestions?

any tricks to make this work globally for
all programs, ie, redirect printer output to
a local printer from a terminal via lp?

mucho thanks.
