I have device ulpt in my kernel, and /dev/ulpt0 exists in /dev. When I plug the cable into my machine, I see nothing in /var/log/messages. Does anyone have any advice to help me get this working ? At present my printcap is as follows : epson:\ :sh:\ :ml=0:\ :mx=0:\ :sd=/var/spool/output/epson:\ :lp=/dev/ulpt0:\ :lpd_bounce=true:\ :if=/usr/local/libexec/hpif: I'm using an hp filter, but lpq -Pepson says waiting for epson to become ready (offline?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
