It has been a struggle - but thanks to everyone who has assisted - I was, at last, able to get 3.3-RELEASE properly installed on the P2B motherboard. The problem was a bad memory chip - *never* buy cheap memory! I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone, but especially to David Kelley who said (to summarize) "you've got bad memory."
