Subject: name resolution for a proxy server

Hi,

I'm using Apache as a proxy server for a "test" version of our
website, and I would now like to run two proxy servers on the
same box.

Unfortunately, Apache uses the host for name resolution, and
I can't have two hosts files on the same box.

Is there a way to give the proxy a name server or file it
should use for domain name resolution, independant of the
host? If there's another proxy server besides Apache's module
that has this functionality, please suggest it.

P.S. please CC: any replies me directly to my account,
as I am not subscribed to freebsd-questions

Thanks,
