Thanxs Francisco -----Original Message----- From: Gustaf Tham [mailto:gus@algonet.se] Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2001 5:49 AM To: FreeBSD-questions Subject: PCCARD-PCMCIA For Dummies -- where? I've browsed and searched, but can't find anything for a newbie. I managed to get an Adaptec 1460 SCSI-card working, but I don't understand what I did :-) The PCMCIA page in the handbook is blank. Is there not somewhere a page with a few gentle words on the basic principles? Or perhaps a few cookbook-style examples. The PAO page is incomprehensible (to me), the FreeBSD on Laptops page is mostly surveys. This is kinda intimidating for a newcomer.
