thanks for the pointer. i'll do just that and try to make the
appropriate ports which i'm sure i have done so following the how-to on
freebsdzine's but i may have missed something or one of the ports didnt
install properly.

anyways, since i'm on a dialup and downloading some (maybe) quite huge
ports would probably take some time, i'll report back on how it goes
when i'm done. again, thanks.
