            Bug ID: 216897
Summary: pw(8): make the mode for logfile, etc configurable
           Product: Base System
           Version: CURRENT
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: bin
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ngie@FreeBSD.org

$work has a patch to pw(8) for setting the mode from 0600 for logfiles to 0=
660
hardcoded in usr.sbin/pw/pw_log.c. There's no reason why this could/shouldn=
't
be controlled in /etc/pw.conf though -- defaulting to 0600.
