At least, if it was an emacs clone for itty-bitty > microcomputers. MINCE was short for "MINCE Is Not Complete Emacs". The first good editor I used, back in the late 70s. It came with complete source code and details on how to hack it, so I added a number of functions, rather in the same way that you'd use macros in GNU Emacs. For its day, it was an excellent editor.
