Is this because of CHS translation? 1024 cyls used to equate to 504MB
(the original HD limit due to the lowest common denominator of IDE
spec and PC BIOS spec), then people started saying 1GB, then 2GB, now
you are saying 8.4GB (the limit of FAT16).
