Ade, you're aware of and understand the helper changes in the old auto*
ports that I put in. That is, AUTOCONF always is 'autoconf', etc, and
you just push /usr/local/libexec/autofoo-v.v onto the front of the path
in both CONFIGURE_ENV and MAKE_ENV.

Makes things a lot easier. I could do a preliminary patch to bsd.port.mk
that doesn't break anything as a proof of concept; in fact, I was
planning to do so anyway as part of a change I have to go in.
