Hi,
  Use Intel NICs driven by ixgbe driver (for instance82599-based).
We mostly run netmap on Ubuntu and Archlinux, but it should run ok also on
Debian and CentOS.
For more information, rea the LINUX/README and README files in the netmap
repository (github).
