This question probably belongs on -questions. This is a discussion group for
DEC/Compaq Alpha related issues.

This kind of configuration is done in /etc/rc.conf. See /etc/rc.conf and
/etc/defaults/rc.conf for details. Once FreeBSD is up and running you should
not need /stand/sysinstall anymore.
