Synopsis: FreeBSD-stable kernel will not compile

State-Changed-From-To: open-closed
State-Changed-By: hoek
State-Changed-When: Fri Mar 13 08:55:05 PST 1998
State-Changed-Why:
The FreeBSD-STABLE kernel post-Oct. 30, 1997, does in fact compile.

It's possible that you simply were unlucky and got it while it was indeed
broken. It's less possible that it simply won't compile on 2.2.2 (which
would be unfortunate).
