For this machine or a general issue? As far as I know several rx2600, rx2620 and rx2660(?) with Madison and Montesito processors are known to be stable. My work rx2600 fbsd server can stay up for months under daily and occasional heavy use. However, we get spontaneous reboots whenever we try to start portscluster build. You can have a look at these pages for more info: http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/packagestats.html http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/ganglia/?c=ia64%20package%20build%20cluster anton -- Anton Shterenlikht Room 2.6, Queen's Building Mech Eng Dept Bristol University University Walk, Bristol BS8 1TR, UK Tel: +44 (0)117 331 5944 Fax: +44 (0)117 929 4423
