I tried the Fixit CD (disc 2) and it says 'ldconfig could not create the ld.so hints' and that my dynamic executables from the disc most likely won't work. When I Alt+F4, typing any command such as 'ls' gives me a segmentation fault. I am running 5.3 on a old AMD 500 with 512MB RAM. Not sure how to get the images for floppies on to my floppy. The 'dd' command does not seem to work in my linux env and I don't find the fdimage.exe for Windows. Appreciate any help. -- Robert
