No. If you deinstall the port correctly, it will only remove
the files that were installed with the port. The +CONTENTS file
in each port's directory in the ports db (/var/db/pkg or wherever)
allows for that.

Yes, but that's no longer necessary because the port is
componentized now, with XFree86-4 being just a meta-port.
