in an effort to save others time, acpi must be enabled for the system to boot on intel d865perlk MB and promise s150 tx4. installed from release cd its ok, but not stable; select option 2 (w/o acpi) and kernel will panic "can't find rootvp". cvsup to stable or current and acpi appears to be off by default and will fail. add option "device acpi" to kernel before reboot and it will work. good luck jon __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
