To program it I have to use a vt-420 terminal emulator with a windows box connected directly to a serial port. I control the Nortel Meridian PBX on my company by connecting it to a serial por of a FreeBSD box so I can telnet it from any windows via telnet and cu. Last month we installed a Meridian voice Mail that requires vt420 terminal emulation to be programed but I wass not able to make it work the same way so I had to use a windows box with a shareware terminal emulator that support vt420.
