Are these on-motherboard controllers, or PCI cards? I have the 100s, the
133s, and the TX2s all running FreeBSD as PCI cards with no problems. I'm not
sure of the chipsets involved, though.

From the looks of the output, this may be a bus and/or drive problem. I've
attached the output of one of my systems that runs the 133 RAID adapter. I have
a not-yet-used system running one of the TX2 cards. I'll try to see if I can
get the output for you today, if you're interested.

Just out of curiousity, have you checked the cables, gotten the orientation
right, checked the master/slave jumpers, and zero'ed the drives to make sure
they're healthy?


Anyhow, here is the output of my 4.7 system, just so you can see that the
controllers are recognized and usable :)
