>Description:
	make install fails for all ports. I am running a recent -STABLE,
	with a ports tree from the same data (19 Aug).

	From reading the archives it appears that this is related to the
	use of the -o option of pkg_info in older versions of FreeBSD.

	However I always experienced the problem while running
	4.8-STABLE.

	It's been some time since this appeared in the -ports list, no
	solution or fix was provided, and no one mentioned it anymore.
	Is it still an open issue? Or is it just me?

>How-To-Repeat:
	select a port, cd into its directory and type:
	make clean && make install
	and you will see an Error 1 when 'checking if port already
	installed'
>Fix:

	Workaround:
	setenv FORCE_PKG_REGISTER yes
	before attempting to install a port

	Fix: I couldn't find anything in the archives
