There seems to be a problem with the ps command, which doesn't occur with top or the process filing system. Sometimes ps -ax just hangs up and has to be kill -9'ed.. The problem is when it's in scripts is really messes things up. Has anyone got any ideas why this might be? Please could you reply by email. Thanks in Advance. Trefor S.
