X has a large number of varying user interfaces. Unlike windoze GUI's they are all different, are customizable, and so on... A good collection and discussion of them with screenshots is at http://www.PLiG.org/xwinman Don't be scared off by the "linux" flavor of the site; these gui's are common to any X system ( X is independent of BSD or Linux ).
