Hi, I've checked the compability list and there is an entry for the Acer notebook. Unfortunately a bit old and not quite informative. My problem isn't dual boot or Windows, my problem is that I can't get the installer started - the installer gets trapped in an endless loop. There used to be Win Vista on that machine, which got killed by an update. It is now running Ubuntu successfully (albeit without WLAN) but I'd prefer FreeBSD. I know that the Acer stuff is crap but throwing it away is not an option ;o) Any ideas how to get the installation started? Maybe there is a particular value to set in the BIOS?
