intel 440bx chipset (abit-bh6 mainboard)
quantum cx13.0a ata4 disk

actually i don't see any spurious interrupts :)

anyway... the raw disk read access speed (not fs!) is about 3MB/sec
this disk reads more than 10MB/secs with other OS'es...

any ideas?
