i'm having a problem with my usb audio. the sound is choppy, but if i move my usb mouse around it's normal. I found a similar problem in google but with no fix. Does anyone have any ideas?

Controller /dev/usb0:
addr 1: full speed, self powered, config 1, UHCI root hub(0x0000), Intel(0x0000), rev 1.00
 port 1 addr 2: low speed, power 100 mA, config 1, Kensington USB Wheel Mouse(0x1012), Kensington(0x047d), rev 1.00
 port 2 powered
