I spent a week lately trying out vinum with five ATA disks. The mobo had ATA-100 capability, so two drives did run at ATA-100, the other ones at ATA-66 (two Promise controllers). I pushed the RAID-5 quite hard with continous parallel buildworld, two-days running postmark and bonnie++, all at the same time. Had no problems, it seems really solid now. The disks were IBM DTLA type, 15G. -- Vallo Kallaste vallo@matti.ee To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
