Can't enter Administrator Mode in Control Center. Clicking Administrator Mode displays "Loading" screen which remains active without loading appropriate admin mode.

Install KDE 3. Open Control Center. Click on System, then Login Manager (or Date & Time, etc). Click Administrator Mode button. Observe "Loading" screen.
