This is why god invented i386 machines - to use as X terminals for
X server disadvantaged operating systems like NetBSD/Alpha. 8-) 8-)

X clients work fine on NetBSD/Alpha and FreeBSD/Alpha.

Doug Rabson is aware of the bus access methods that allow Linux/Alpha
to use the i386 XFree servers which don't support the NetBSD bus access
methods. This means that FreeBSD/Alpha will eventually be able to support
all the X servers that Linux/Alpha does.
