Hello list, After upgrading to 7.2-R from 7.1-R, I see this in dmesg and /var/log/messages: ######### device name from dmesg ################## ciss0: <HP Smart Array 6i> port 0x5000-0x50ff mem 0xf7ef0000-0xf7ef1fff,0xf7e80000-0xf7ebffff irq 24 at device 4.0 on pci2 ciss0: [ITHREAD] ######## these lines appeared a few hours after the upgrade ## ciss0: *** State change, logical drive 0 ciss0: logical drive 0 (pass0) changed status recovering->OK, spare status 0x0 ciss0: *** SCSI bus speed downshifted, SCSI port 2 ciss0: *** SCSI bus speed downshifted, SCSI port 2 ciss0: *** SCSI bus speed downshifted, SCSI port 2 ciss0: *** SCSI bus speed downshifted, SCSI port 2 ######################################################## Should I be worried? -- John
