Ifconfig reports both as being up and in fact they function correctly with different subnets assigned. I have attempted with and without gateway enabled. I have manually configed rc.conf and used /stand/sysinstall with same result. This has been tested on separate machines with different NICs with the same outcome. Is there a compile time switch or am I missing something. Sincerely Bob D
