Modify the MD_NSECT variable, yes. The MD_ROOT_SIZE=10 allows you to specify the size of a blank spot in the kernel for storing an md_image file. This well become your root device if you allow md root devices. By the way, can somebody please tell me how to put an md_image into the kernel like that? Is it just with some careful use of dd, is there a make flag, or some other method? I haven't been able to figure it out. Likewise, how can I extract the md_image from the kernel, if I want to modify it? PicoBSD builds a kernel with md_image built right in, but I can't figure out how to get the md_image in order to add some binaries.
