Most likely it's not a bug of vmmon driver, nor hopefully bug of VMware itself. But bug of the FreeBSD if_tap interface (vmware on freebsd use it as vmmon interface), and in that case you have contact wiht if_tap commiter - Nick Sayer or with if_tap author Maksim Yemenkin.
