pccard is ok. but sound is still bad... it probed but can't play.

FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Jun 13 2001 16:59:15
Installed devices:
pcm0: <Yamaha DS-1E (YMF744)> at memory 0xfecf0000 irq 9 (4p/2r/0v channels duplex default)

When I play some mp3, dmesg says:

pcm0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead

NS> As for your question about the spic driver, you use it by opening
NS> "/dev/jogdial" and reading it. Every turn of the jogdial gives you

NS> when you let it out you get "U".

I can't read anything from /dev/jogdial. It appears(in devfs) but when
I do 'cat /dev/jogdial' and moving the jogdial doesn't give any
output. and dmesg still says when probing spic:

spic0: <Sony Programmable I/O Controller> at port 0x65-0x69 on isa0
spic busy wait abort
spic busy wait abort
spic busy wait abort
spic busy wait abort
