So far I have not got as far as sysinstall because the machine hangs. I have booted to the loader prompt and tried all combinations that made sense of the following set hint.acpi.0.disabled="1" set hw.pci.enable_io_modes="0" set hw.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range="1" set hint.psm.0.flags="0x1000" set hw.ata.atapi_dma="1" And still get no further if acpi is diabled it hangs almost immediately if acpi is not diabled it seems to finish loading acpi and then hangs. There is no panic no diagnostic messages just hangs. Has anybody got any further suggestions ? I have read reports of RH loonix loading ok on these machines so I can give that a go as a last resort. I have spent several days trying to get this thing to install FBSD so any help will be very much appreciated. Regards Eric Parsonage
