It all works wonderfully, and I have no=20 problem surfing with the browsers on the Win95 units. But when I want to ping a computer on the Internet, unless I know the=20 IP address, I'm out of luck. For example if I ping 206.66.36.12, I get a = reply. But if I ping www.airmail.net, I get the unknown host error=20 message. Can someone tell me how to get the FreeBSD machine to=20 recognize site names, not just addresses? This also is a problem for=20 me when I want to FTP with the FreeBSD unit. I have to go to one of=20 the Win95 units, run CuteFTP, using the domain name, like=20 ftp.freebsd.org, and when the IP address appears I write it down and=20 then use it on my FreeBSD machine.
