I think a good chunk of the "experimental" tag is due to the lack of maintainers for ZFS. As far as I know PJD is still the only one that has thorough knowledge of ZFS on FreeBSD. At one point he stated he doesn't want to remove the experimental tag until there is at least one other person that knows the system well. I've not seen anything on this for a while though so my information could be out of date. Jonathan
