Let me set this straight right away: OpenRCS was brought to the vendor tree at a time when: 1) The removal of GNU rcs proved to be a bad idea. 2) OpenBSD has problems paying electricity builds and there was some (low) risk of loosing it. There will be a second attempt to get rid of GNU RCS for FreeBSD 12: you can follow that up in the -current list. I am personally hoping this attempt will be successful and definitive. There are NO plans to import OpenRCS into base. Pedro.
